Finder power relayIn the process of use, due to various reasons such as low product quality, improper use and poor maintenance, various faults often occur. At present, there are few kinds of electronic relays used in locomotives, and their faults and handling, inspection and test have their own characteristics. The following are the common problems and handling measures of finder power relay:
Loose and cracked contacts
The contact is the electrical contact part of the relay, which is used to switch the load; The contacts of some products are riveted and pressed. The main disadvantages are that the contacts are loose, cracked or the size and position deviation is too large. This will affect the contact reliability of the relay. The loosening of the lifting point is caused by the unreasonable size of the fitting department between the reed and the contact or the improper adjustment of the riveting pressure by the operator. Contact cracking is caused by too high hardness or pressure of the material. For contacts made of different materials, processes of different materials should be used. Some contact materials with higher hardness should be annealed, and then contact manufacturing, riveting or spot welding. Be careful when manufacturing contacts, because there is a tolerance in the material, so the blocking length of each piece should be determined after the test touch. There shall be no flash, pad damage or plumpness during contact manufacturing. The contact riveting deviation is caused by the operator's inaccurate mold and the dislocation of the upper and lower molds. Contact damage and pollution are caused by greasy dirt and iron filings on the unclean mold. No matter what the disadvantage is, it will affect the working reliability of the relay. Therefore, in the process of contact manufacturing, riveting or electric welding, it is necessary to observe the self inspection division of intermediate sampling of first article inspection and final inspection, so as to improve the assembly quality.
Damage of glass insulator
Glass insulator is made of metal pins and glass sintered. In the process of inspection, assembly, adjustment, transportation and cleaning, the pins are easy to bend, the glass insulator falls off and cracks, resulting in the decline of insulation and withstand voltage function in case of air leakage. The rolling of the pins will also cause the displacement of the contact spring, affecting the reliable on-off of the product. This requires the assembly operator to handle the relay carefully in the whole process of production, and the parts should be neatly arranged in the transfer box. In the process of assembly or adjustment, it is not allowed to pull or twist the lead out foot.
Relay parameters are not disordered
The components of electromagnetic relay are riveted, and the main problem is that the riveting is loose or the bonding strength is not good. This fault will make the relay parameters not disordered, the parameters change greatly at high and low temperatures, and the ability to resist mechanical vibration and impact is poor. Relay manufacturers believe that the main reasons for this kind of failure are over tolerance of rivets, improper placement of parts, inconsistent quality of tools and dies or incorrect installation. Therefore, before riveting, carefully check whether the mold and riveted parts meet the requirements.
Deformation of riveted parts in electromagnetic system
The bending, skew and thick black pier of the riveted parts will make it difficult to assemble or adjust the next process, and even cause scrap. The main reasons for this problem are that the riveted parts are too long or too short, or the force during riveting is uneven, the mold assembly deviation or design size is wrong, and the parts are placed improperly. When riveting, the operator should first check whether the size, shape and mold of the parts are correct. If the mold is not installed in place, it will affect the assembly quality of the electromagnetic system or the deformation and thickness of the iron core.
Coil failure
There are many kinds of coils used for relays. Whether they are outsourced or not, all coils should be placed in special appliances separately. If they collide and cross, they will be broken when they are separated. When riveting the electromagnetic system, the pressure adjustment of the hand wrench press and the press should be moderate. Excessive pressure will lead to coil fracture or coil cracking, deformation and winding breakdown. If the pressure is too small, the winding will loosen and the magnetic loss will increase. Multi winding coils are usually headed by leads of different colors. Pay attention to distinguish when welding, otherwise it will cause wrong welding of the coil. Coils with start and end requirements are generally marked by marking. Attention should be paid to assembly and welding, otherwise the relay level will be reversed.
